Progress in Dodecafluoropentane Emulsion as a Neuroprotective Agent in a Rabbit Stroke Model

This study assessed DDFPe dose response and reduction of infarct volume at 7 and 24 h in a permanent occlusion model of stroke. Repeated doses of the drug given every 90 minutes are associated with an 85% reduction in infarct volume at 24 hours.
